take a weekend trip to Garmisch,
Germany and
stay at the Edelweiss Lodge & Resort for American military families. As Lisa says, it’s like a little piece of America in Bavaria.
The restaurants serve American food, the U.S. dollar is accepted, most
staff is American, and everyone speaks English.
I’ll have tap water, and a grilled chicken sandwich without the cheese
and bacon, but with lettuce and tomato instead…and honey mustard on the side,
please!
Since we were too concerned about security going in and out of the large military establishment, we never got to take a picture of the area/entrance. This picture stolen from their webpage pretty much describes it...minus the snow
