Hello from Amsterdam!
Arrived safe and sound...smooth flights, just a long layover in Dublin so we didn't get here to our hotel until nearly 2pm. Went into Amsterdam city center this afternoon/evening and walked around/got our bearings. Did Rick Steves City Walk and Red Light District Walk. Tons of people out and about...and lots and lots of bikes...to the point that it's dangerous to cross the street for fear of being hit by a cyclist! Weather is fall-like...i.e. September days...jeans and a sweatshirt at night.
Hoping to visit some museums tomorrow when we're more rested.
